ICube V.P. Bill Wong Appointed as Member of the Experts Committee of the Shenzhen ICC
January, 2013 – Mr. Bill Wong, Vice President of ICube Corporation (ICube), is appointed as a member of the Experts Committee of the Shenzhen Branch of the National Integrated Circuit Design Industrialization Center (Shenzhen ICC).
Shenzhen ICC is one of eight ICC base organizations formed by the Ministry of Science and Technology. Its charter is to promote the growth of the IC industry in Shenzhen and to accelerate technological innovations in the IC field.
For the last few years, ICube has been a key member of Shenzhen ICC, working closely with the organization in developing its UPU-based processor IP and chip products. This appointment today represents an endorsement of ICube’s work by Shenzhen ICC. Local fabless IC companies can benefit tremendously from the right degree of support from the government, which in turn helps the whole semiconductor industry to grow.
